Hey Lovelies,

After class today, I was reflecting on my day and a word came to my mind. That word is “Balance”. As I reflect I start navigating through my mind to figure out why Balance, then they meaning started appearing in front on me and it started making sense.

I chose “Balance” as the wellness word of the day because it encompasses a holistic approach to well-being, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects of health. Balance implies a state of equilibrium, stability, and harmony, which is crucial for optimal well-being. Here are some reasons why “Balance” is an important concept in wellness:

Maintaining a balanced lifestyle that includes regular exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate rest is essential for physical health.
