Hey Everyone,
Greetings in the New Year. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a wonderful start to the year 2022. I appreciate all of your help and encouragement over the last year. I hope and pray that this year is full of incredible blessings and accomplishments. Amen.
Every year, we all sit down to reflect on the previous year, using our lessons learned to pave the way for the coming year. I was standing next to my living room window, holding a jar full of hot tea, while I reflect on 2021 and the roller coaster of events that occurred throughout that year.
Families and Friends
I am grateful that my children, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces, aunties, and uncles are still here with me. Those I can visit and see, as well as those I haven’t seen in years.
I am grateful for all my friends, old, new, and those who have been with me for more than four decades. I’m delighted we all made it through the year, and I hope we would spend more time together in the future.
Achievements
For me, 2021 was a year of higher height. I accomplished a desire that I had been putting off for nearly 17 years. Achieving my Masters degree in Public Health is the realization of that dream and desires.
When I first began the program, I had no idea if I would complete it. It was in a completely new place and much outside of my comfort zone. The path was riddled with ups and downs in emotions, and I considered leaving several times. However, I’m pleased I didn’t. That determination and persistence I held on to was important in propelling me to achieve that goal.
Career
Accounting and finance have been a part of my life for the past two decades, and I enjoy them. I’m grateful for the consistency, as well as the strength and ability to continue working.
Business
My business has been great; but, due to my Masters classes, I had to put my sewing, design, and tutorials on pause for a bit. I’m slowly getting things back together. My Masters coursework aided me in restarting a limited liability company (LLC) that I had set up for years but never used. I used the LLC to start my consulting firm, where I work as a Public Health specialist, a Finance specialist, and a Bookkeeper for small businesses and non-profit organizations. I also participate in other entrepreneur activities from time to time.
I’m looking forward to 2022; I’ve got a lot of programs and events scheduled for the year. Hopefully, I’ll be able to fit them into my schedule while still working full-time. I understand how difficult it is. But I’m here to experience it.
I promise to publish more videos, generate more material, and write more eBooks on health and wellness, financial advice, holistic approaches to mental health, and other topics.
I’m looking forward to a marvelous year with you all.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today
