Hey Everyone,

I hope you’re having a great week so far.

Last year, I played an active role in a wellness challenge (30 days, 10,000 steps per day) that surprised me because I had no idea how many people would be interested.
Surprisingly, a large number of people did.
I found out after the fact how many people were taking part in the challenge but weren’t actively communicating on Instagram or Facebook to record their daily step counts.

Why am I participating in this challenge?
When I first started the challenge, it was to assist me move around during COVID because of the pounds I had gained due to a lack of activity.
I needed accountability, and I wasn’t providing it to myself.

I decided that posting my steps/walk activities on social media will help me keep track of the days when I push myself to go for a walk and the days when I don’t.
Fans who follow me on social media are likely to notice my actions and may call me out if they see I haven’t posted anything for a given day.

This year, I decided to do it all over again, except this time I’m only tracking 5,000 steps instead of 10,000.
The feedback I got was that several people didn’t participate because they were terrified of the number of steps.

The challenge is returning, and it will begin on March 1st.
For my wellness activities, I have created a Facebook and Instagram page. It’s called Wellness and Circle, and if you’d like to join, please do so. Let’s work together to achieve our goals. Not only do we have health goals, but we also have other aspirations that we could profit from by helping each other.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today
