Counseling is strongly recommended if you always feel unaccomplished. It provides an emotionally safe place in which to reflect on and understand what you’re going through and also understand the proposed solution to your feelings.
We beat up ourselves a lot on accomplishing big goals that we always forget to realize the little goals we’ve accomplished like working with great people, making good money, having a degree, waking up every day etc.
Is social media influencing you in thinking you’re not accomplishing enough? When you look at your friends or people you follow accomplishing their goals and talking about how great it is. Or, are you comparing yourself to someone else you wish you could be?
These gradual feelings may produce a variety of issues that may affect you and a lasting implication that may affect you or those close to you either now or in the future.
Counseling is always a good start to a solution even though a lot of us do not believe in it. Being able to talk to someone other than you is always a start to unloading your burdens.
Reach out to people close to you that you could talk to. Share your feelings and problem with them not only for them to hear you but also to hear their opinions. You will be surprised that the stuff you think is a huge burden to you might be the lifesaver to somebody else.
